Treatment cost varies depending on the clinical requirement of each patient. All our dentists give a written estimate to the patients and all the available options are explained at the time of the first consultation.
Private − These treatments are advanced and cosmetic treatments. The dentists allocate additional time and make use of expensive materials and use specialist laboratories which are generally not available under the NHS system.
Intermediate − These treatments are available when there is no NHS funding allocation.
NHS dental charges − Pricing is fixed at 3 different levels. Each dentist has a monthly allocation of NHS funding treatment which is subject to availability. NHS hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The three NHS charge bands are as follows:
Band 1: £17.00. This charge includes an examination, diagnosis and preventive advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, scale and polish and planning for further treatment.
Band 2: £47.00. This charge includes all the necessary treatment covered by the £16.50 charge, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment or extractions.
Band 3: £204.00 This charge includes all the necessary treatment that is covered by the £17.00 and £47.00 charges, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges.
Your first consultation with the dentist includes a comprehensive
oral examination, all necessary X-rays, a written treatment plan and
estimate. The Private and Intermediary NHS consultation fees are from £20 to
£40. NHS fees charged at the fixed rate of £16.50
Ways you can pay for your treatment
Fees are payable as treatment progresses; we accept cash and most credit/debit cards (subject to status). We do not accept cheques as a general rule’ to payment methods.

Our finance options allow you to spread the cost of your treatment over an agreed credit period that fits within your budget. Our finance plan offers 0% interest free finance for the first year of your payment plan, and low interest finance for payment plans over and above a 24 month period, subject to terms and conditions.

Our Guarantee
Here at Bluebell Dental Practice, we pride ourselves on the level of service and expertise we offer our clients. All our treatments are given to the best of our ability, however, very occasionally; treatments do not last as long as they should. For your peace of mind, we guarantee our work for two years. This means that if any problem should occur for any reason as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, a like-for-like replacement will be provided free of charge.
