Becoming a Patient
is free for all patients and our flexible early mornings; late evening
and Saturday appointments mean that patients are able to incorporate
dental care into their busy life styles with greater ease .
We are proud of both our Practice reception areas. They are large, airy and very welcoming. We provide current newspapers and magazines as well as plasma TV for your enjoyment while you wait for your appointment.
Failure to attend your appointment or cancellation of your
appointment at short notice could result in discretionary charge.
Please be aware that if you fail to attend more than 2 appointments you will not be offered any further appointments.
All new patients requiring an emergency dental appointment will be charged a private emergency fee of £40.00 plus any additional treatment costs incurred during the visit.
Any new patients who would like to join the practice, that do not require an appointment within 48 hours the emergency fee will not apply.
We have recently found the following letter posted on a Website for "Dentists for Anxious and Nervous Patients" - Dental Phobia Information at Dental Fear Central.
This letter was posted on the above website's forum on 16th October 2005 after having treatment at Bluebell.
"I can't recommend this dental practice highly enough. As a formerly committed dental phobic I honestly never thought I'd actually laugh while I was in 'the chair'. But the people here are just so understanding and friendly I forgot to be frightened. Even though I was getting four front teeth treated at the time.
They treat both private & NHS patients. I managed to arrange a next day appointment even though I wasn't registered. And then after examining me, they rescheduled their appointments later in the day so I could return and have an hourís treatment so I could smile in the photos at a family wedding on the following weekend! As if that isn't enough I'm looking forward to going back for root canal treatment, and then again to have four veneers fitted. If they can help me, they can help anyone."
Since the implementation of the new Dental Contract in April 2006, we have accepted a large number of new NHS patients. Due to this increased level of demand, the Bluebell Dental Practice, with the support of Redbridge PCT, are having to introduce interim measures in order to allow us time to assess current and future NHS capacity.
From 1st June 2006, the Practice is not in a position to guarantee new patients for treatment under the NHS.
However we can still continue to offer the choice to be treated on an affordable independent basis. The price structure is similar in price to the old NHS system for most treatments. We can also treat you on a private basis. Please ask at reception for prices.
In the meantime, if you require further assistance in finding an NHS Dentist, please contact Redbridge PCT PALS Service on 0800 0926 995 who will be happy to assist you.
The Bluebell Dental Practice remains committed to providing NHS services to local people and apologise in advance for any disappointment or inconvenience this current situation may have caused.
